The OPAM meeting for March 2007 will be Thursday March 22, 2007 at 7:00 P.M. at the Saline District Library. The presentation will be by OPAM member Prue Heikkinen and will feature 110 recent images from New Zealand's South Island. This promises to be a good show, as Prue advises it was very tough to trim over 600 favorite images to the top 100.
Also, be advised that the OPAM website was moved last
month to a new ISP, and some parts of the website (including the photo galleries)
are not yet functional. This takes some time to do because the gallery must be
set up differently on the new host system.
The OPAM meeting schedule for year 2007 is as follows. The hours are 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm for all dates.

To get to the Saline Library from Ann Arbor, go south from I-94 on Ann Arbor-Saline Road past Oak Valley Dr. (just past Meijers) to the next light, which is Maple Road. Turn left, and go just about 4 miles to the library, on your right, just past Saline High School and XYCOM. Note the 7:00 starting time, as we have to finish up by 9:00 PM.
The March 2007 newsletter will be mailed on Sunday March 18.
There are no current plans for official OPAM outings this year.
Organization yearly dues are $35, due each January. This covers part of the cost of printing and distributing the newsletter and maintaining the website. Meetings in our current location are free. OPAM also sponsors monthly outings, which are free except for meals and entrance fees, as well as periodic photo exhibitions for members. Other member benefits include a 15% discount for photodeveloping at Foto 1 Imaging in Ann Arbor and a discount on photodeveloping and film at Big George's Appliance Mart in Ann Arbor.
